Joel Greenblatt's Magic Formula Strategy

In 2005, American academic and fund manager Joel Greenblatt demonstrated in his book 'The Little Book That Beats The Market' that investors of all ages could be successful by following his magic formula. The magic formula, consisting of only two factors, is based on the strategy of buying good companies at cheap prices. According to the book, the strategy has yielded an average annual return of 40% in a 20-year period.

This course is designed to explore the applicability of the magic formula in Borsa Istanbul and to convey the results to participants. In addition to calculating and using the magic formula, strategies that can be implemented in the Turkish Stock Market and their performance results will be shared with participants. The strategies developed will be tested on Borsa Istanbul, and the results will be shared. Participants will also have the opportunity to see how strategies can be created and tested in the Queenstocks Professional program.
