Hello! After completing my primary and secondary education in Izmir, I came to Istanbul in 2003 for my university studies. Since then, Istanbul has become my home with pursuing my master's and doctoral degrees. In the year of my graduation (2007), I started working in the research department of a brokerage firm. I was writing reports and monitoring the market, but I soon realized that this job was unsuitable. Following that, I worked in the fund department of a pension company while continuing my master's studies. During this period, when I made one of the most important decisions of my life, I left the private sector and embarked on my academic journey through doctoral studies. I have been teaching, learning, researching, and writing in finance for years. I continue my work as a faculty member in finance.
I have published 17 books and numerous articles and papers in finance. I provide consulting services to companies in financial technology and financial services. I deliver training sessions to banks and various institutions. I am also the owner and editor of the peer-reviewed journal "Banking and Capital Market Research Journal," registered in the Dergipark system. Sharing knowledge brings me great joy, and through my "financial literacy" project called #finansokulu, I provide information about personal finance to individuals of all levels.
I aim to make finance accessible to everyone by providing education in a simple language, and I continue to write books. I invite you to join my courses for a finance education rich in examples and easy to understand.
