Ayşegül Güngör

I received my undergraduate degree from Istanbul University's Department of Econometrics in 1989, and in 1991, I also earned my master's degree there. I finished my undergraduate studies in sociology at Anadolu University in 2017. In 1989, I began my banking career at TEB's Treasury and Capital Markets. I began working in the Credit Lyonnais Turkey branch's Treasury division in 1991 and remained there till 1995. I also obtained knowledge about worldwide marketplaces at this time. I changed locations to the Demirbank Investment Banking division in 1995. I was appointed Demir Yatırım's assistant general manager in charge of the money and capital markets in 1997. During this time, the group I oversaw developed Turkey's first index fund. We made a difference by introducing a fresh perspective on portfolio management and selecting the funds in accordance with the clients' preferred levels of risk. Since 2001, I am the General Manager of Minerva Education and Consultancy, which I am the founder of. I also teach Investment Banking and Portfolio Management at Bilgi University e-MBA.
