Ayben Koy graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Economics in 2004 and started her career in the finance sector and other industries. In 2012, she joined Istanbul Commerce University as a faculty member. She completed her Master's degree in Business Administration at Yildiz Technical University, and in 2016, he obtained his Ph.D. in Finance from Istanbul University with a thesis on Derivative Markets. Through her intensive work during and after her doctoral studies, she earned the title of Associate Professor in 2018. Koy has authored two books on derivative markets and is a co-author of a book in the field of financial econometrics. She has numerous works in finance, including derivative markets and capital markets. She has a keen interest in financial technologies and investment topics, conducting research in these areas. Koy provides consultancy and delivers training on various aspects of finance such as financial management and risk management to institutions and businesses. Alongside her academic work, she remains actively involved in the business world, leveraging her scientific knowledge and professional experience to benefit her students and the industry. With a blend of academic expertise and practical managerial experience in the private sector, Koy has taken on administrative roles in academia and currently serves as the Director of the Institute of Finance at Istanbul Commerce University since 2022.
