His graduate studies were in German Business Informatics at Marmara University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Units. It holds licenses for corporate rating, credit rating, derivative instruments, and CMB Advanced. Thesis work is still ongoing at Marmara University's Institute of Social Sciences' Department of Business Administration, Financial Markets, and Investment Management. He has held positions as a research manager, futures manager, and futures specialist at several organizations. He changed jobs in 2015 and is now the Manager of Investment Consulting and Research at Gedik Investment. He is still employed at Gedik Investment as the investment advisory manager. Since 2008, he has written columns for Para Magazine. In addition to Para Magazine, he has been publishing his professional insight into the markets every Wednesday in Dünya Newspaper since February 2014. His opinions have been carried nationwide on several TV, radio, newspapers, publications, and websites. He spoke at a number of financial markets-related training courses and conferences.
