Sezen Güngör was born in Istanbul in 1980, earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Istanbul University in 2007 and his master's degree in finance from the university's institute of business economics in 2009. The Institute awarded him the degree of Doctor of Business Administration.
The author's research concentrated on examining the psychological, neurological, genetic, social, and cultural foundations of investor behavior and was informed by behavioral finance and investor behavior. In her research, she emphasizes that investors might not always act rationally in all situations and that it is likely that they will exhibit irrational behaviors. She also emphasizes that behavioral theories should be mentioned in cases where anomalies occurring in financial markets cannot be explained by traditional finance theories. It focuses on investor psychology and biases in this seminar, titled "Investor Prejudices and Behavioral Errors," which was created to address those who are interested in this topic.
